I'm glad the only tragedy was a red face! This made me smile. I used to hold the typical American view about eating dog until I saw a truck of dogs that were going to be sold as meat crossing the Laos-Vietnam border. It was such a strange feeling I had at that moment. It was an awful sight and an awful smell, but I really couldn't judge because I eat meat. I've had rabbit, but I really can't ever see myself eating dog or cat (willingly, as Oneika points out :P).Ekuahttp://girlunstoppable.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1178398363694536309.post-10399154213812240412011-06-10T03:21:49.880-07:002011-06-10T03:21:49.880-07:00My Korean students often tried to explain to me th...My Korean students often tried to explain to me that the dogs used for eating were not cute pet-like dogs and it was the same as killing cows to eat ... which I kind of get, but I still don't want to try it! (and yeah a friend of mine had a semi-tiny-farm once, with two cows, has never eaten a scrap of beef since!)Amanda Kendlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05178108297108834609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1178398363694536309.post-21420647372814993602011-06-10T01:20:11.509-07:002011-06-10T01:20:11.509-07:00@Oneika - Food or friend? So long as I never get a pet cow, I'll be good. I started laughing soooo hard at the end of all this, but she ~ did not.
